Holiday Morning Routine
I’m one of those people who doesn’t sleep for long but, if I don’t get enough sleep then I can get really cranky. So as you can guess, it is not nice when you went to bed late because you were watching X Factor thinking ‘I can go to bed whenever I want cause it’s the holidays’!’ But what I always forget is my baby brother. Okay let me get this straight, I love my brother to bits but, when you get woken up in the middle of the morning because he’s crying, I’m not the happiest person in the world. Sooooo, to make those mornings slightly more bearable I do things which I enjoy and I find relaxing.
So the first thing I’ll do is obviously go and sort out my brother because I’m not just going to leave him there crying. Sooooo, once I’ve got my brother quiet and he’s staying with me or give him to my mum, I’ll just quickly make my bed because I can’t stay in a messy place for long or it just stresses me out.
After that I’ll go into the bathroom and quickly rinse my face and use some mouthwash. I just do this to wake me up a little bit and so that if I talk to anyone then I won’t have terrible morning breath.
Once I’ve done that I’ll just go onto my bed and use my phone. On my phone I’ll go onto my Instagram feed and just flick through and like all my photos. Also, I’ll just reply to any comments you wonderful people left on there. The final thing I’ll do on my phone is go through my Blog emails and reply to any if I need too. After that I’ll go onto my personal email so that I can see what videos have appeared in my subscription feed. I always have that mindset that I’ll only watch a few videos but let’s be real, I’ll probably watch at least 5.
Once I’ve finished that I’ll get out my laptop (it’s a school one) and if I have some homework which I’ve been procrastinating on doing then I’ll get some of that done before heading downstairs. However, if I don’t have any homework to do then I’ll probably just read some blog posts or start pre-writing some for my blog.
When I’m downstairs I’ll go and do my chore before going to make my breakfast. I’m a very unhealthy person which isn’t very good but I can’t help it so this is actually one of my healthy breakfasts. But anyway, for today’s breakfast I made some scrambled egg on toast and it was delicious. Sorry I didn’t get a photo but I was really hungry and completely forgot.
Once I’ve finished eating I would normally go and make myself a Mocha but I was feeling a little bit healthier so I decided to skip it (didn’t work though because I literally had one an hour later,) And then wash up any plates or pans which I used to make breakfast. Then I’ll go upstairs and prepare myself for a shower.
Once I’m in my bedroom I’ll go and change into my dressing robe and then head into the bathroom. From their I’ll go straight into the shower and have what I’d think to be a 5 minute shower but is probably at least 15 minutes. Once I’ve finished my shower I’ll put on a YouTube video (yes I’m that obsessed) whilst I’m brushing my teeth. I brush my teeth after my breakfast because then I feel as I’m actually brushing some dirt away, if you know what I mean. Then I’ll use some mouthwash again.
Anyway, after that I’ll just do my skincare routine. I’ve already done a post on that so I’m not going to talk about it and hopefully it should be up by now anyway. Once I’ve finished that I’ll go into my room and change into my outfit but that’ll depend on what I’m doing in the day. But since today I’m just staying in the house I put on a pair of leggings, a top and a hoodie to keep me warm. After that I’ll just go down and watch Pretty Little Liars or Gossip Girl. Another show I’ve really liked is House of Anubis and I seriously recommend you watch it. I’ve only watched season 1 and 2 because they don’t have the third one on there but I’m going to find a way to watch it.
By the time I’ve finished this it’s probably around 12 O’clock because I just really take my time because I mean it’s the holiday sooooo, I’m in no rush.
