As I'm pretty sure you know I LOVE to read. There's just something about it which I find so soothing and relaxing especially if you're sitting at home with a nice hot drink and some homemade baking treats. Ahhhh, Cookies. Anyway... the book I'm going to do a review on today is Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. I actually heard about this book when Zoella brought out her Zoella Book Club and OMG, when i started to read the book I was so hooked.
I pretty sure this book is appropriate for all ages because I don't think it has any swear words in it but, i'm not 100% sure so don't hold this on me. Also, I'd say that the genre for this book is Family Drama, Fiction and Romantic. Even if you're not a massive fan of those genre's then I still recommend you read it because it's so good!
I really like the set up of this book because it's not you're ordinary book with writing and a few occasional pictures here and there, Everything Everything is just so beautifully beautifully designed. In this book there are some pages where it's just pure drawing and all the illustrations are all so pretty and I absolutely love them!
Also the structure of this book is really different as well. Because instead of it all being in first person and it having lots of descriptive words it's just more of an easy-read. Another thing I really like is the fact that again instead of it being all in the first person it kind of tells some of the story of them talking by text message and email which I like because it just makes the book so much nicer and not too formal. And the final thing I like about the setup go this book is the fact that it doesn't really have chapters and that they are quite small or that there is a variety of lengths instead of them all being really long. Because sometimes when I read really long chapters then if I'm not a huge fan of the book it makes me enjoy that little bit less which I don't want because I like reading.
What book are you enjoying?
